BRUSAbout

A reading list for the Brazil–US real estate corridor.

Investe Bonito collects the stories that matter for real estate capital moving between Brazil and the United States, from English and Portuguese sources, and adds a short, independent take on each one.

Institutional research on the corridor sits behind paywalls, and most trade media covers one market or the other. The goal here is simple: read widely in both languages, link to the best reporting, and explain in a few sentences why it matters, in plain language that doesn't assume a finance background.

The name is a nod to joga bonito: investing, played well.

Who curates it

Investe Bonito is curated by Miles Matalon. Miles comes from commercial real estate finance, with experience in hotel investment sales and debt placement at Berkadia and JLL, and holds a Master's in Real Estate Development from NYU Schack. His focus is real estate investment between Brazil and the US.

How it works

  • Every link goes to the original publisher. Investe Bonito doesn't republish articles.
  • The takes are personal commentary, not investment advice.
  • Corridor data comes straight from official sources: Banco Central do Brasil, IBGE and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED).
